Summary: As a lead member of the Salesforce delivery team, the Salesforce Technical Architect will be responsible for ensuring the technical quality and excellence of the solutions delivered to our customers. The Salesforce Technical Architect will develop, review, and approve technical designs with the Salesforce delivery teams, and interact with the customer to help them understand and approve the overall solution design. Explaining complex technical solutions in a succinct manner will be a frequent responsibility. Effective external communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required to maintain and grow Liberty’s client relationships. The Salesforce Technical Architect is an advisor and coach to the Salesforce development and delivery teams, guiding them on how to build proper data architecture, business logic, and interfaces (both human and machine). The Salesforce Technical Architect will be able to articulate optimal architectural decisions when faced with less-than desired inputs. As an expert in modern agile software development methodologies, the Salesforce Technical Architect will set the standard for comprehensive distributed version control, flexible release management, and thorough automated testing. The Salesforce Technical Architect will continually maintain and refine technical competency in the ever-changing domain of enterprise information technology. Remote work allowed. Required Education: Bachelors Degree or higher in a business or technical discipline Required Years of Experience: 10 years, or 5 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education Responsibilities: Responsible for technical direction, technical design and technical documentation Partner with Solution Architects and project teams on solution design & delivery Directs development team on design and implementation of features and functionality Identify sequences, dependencies, and inventories of implementation tasks for the technical team Ensures adherence to Liberty IT Solutions Salesforce technical standards and practices Provides technical risk impact assessment Authorizes delivery of technical components Coaches Development/Technical Leads to grow into Technical Architect role Guide, train, and mentor Liberty Salesforce team members Lead continuous improvement of Liberty Salesforce practice technical standards Contribute to the development of project scope and estimate artifacts Assist with interviewing candidates for technical Salesforce positions Stay current on trends and evolving standards across the enterprise technology landscape Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of Salesforce.com systems implementation experience Minimum of 8 years of software and system design experience Salesforce System Architect and Application Architect Certifications Salesforce Platform Developer I & II Certifications Experience with Salesforce end-to-end enterprise implementations in the following areas: Key architectural concepts such as code versus configuration and how those concepts influence design Platform technical awareness, including API limitations and governor limits Enterprise architecture code patterns and object oriented design principles Data Migration, single sign-on, and web services Source control management and DevOps Integrating Salesforce with 3rd party solutions, including AppExchange apps and external APIs
