NexTec Group ERP Regional Sales Manager (East Coast - US) (Remote) in Remote, New York

Role Description

The Regional Sales Manager will drive net new clients during the solution selection process. New sales are developed through direct sales and marketing activities using a structured team sales methodology. The Regional Sales Manager will have understanding and ability to position all NexTec products and services to the industries that we serve. The Regional Sales Manager will be the primary contact with established prospects and act as liaison to other NexTec team members and partner resources, coordinating efforts for sales and services engagements.

This is a remote role, but due to the territory the Regional Sales Manager will cover, the East Coast, Candidates must be located in one of the following states: Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, or eastern Pennsylvania.

Objectives (Key Outcomes)

  • Management of the Acumatica sales cycle to new clients.

  • Consistently meet or exceed Sales Quota.

  • Create new sales opportunities by building a strategic alliance network in their region.

    Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new clients.

  • Demonstrate business networking skills including account planning with alliance partners.

  • Evaluate and document business requirements, determine whether our products will be an effective solution for new clients.

  • Close new Client Accounts.

  • Complete the sales process from beginning to closing in an effective and well-managed process.

  • Develop, maintain publisher relationships.

  • Work in close liaison with publisher and NexTec offices, both regional sales and national practice.

  • Manage publisher quotas and drive sales to meet goal.

  • Have knowledge or secure resources to provide product recommendations based on requirements; ISVs, Acumatica/Microsoft/Sage products, NexTec IP and offerings.

  • Manage effective sales cycles; discovery to final close.

  • Employ strategic and tactical sales methods driving high close rate.

  • Coordinate resources and activities.

  • Understand pricing and create accurate quotes and proposals.

  • Ability to negotiate and close deals in timely and efficient manner.

  • Provide accurate forecasting utilizing CRM.

  • Maintain current detailed client information in CRM to support Marketing and customer reporting.

  • Understand primary ISV products, sales and engagement process and partner relationships.

  • Be knowledgeable and leverage publisher's promotions and campaigns.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    Education and Experience

Required

  • A minimum of three years of ERP sales experience, ideally with similar ERP software (Acumatica, Sage X3, Microsoft Dynamics/D365 (CRM, AX, NAV, GP, and SL), NetSuite, etc.) is required.

  • Strong problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills are necessary.

  • Superior communication skills, both written and oral (including group presentations/sales presentations), are necessary.

  • The ability to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline is required.

  • The ability to consistently meet or exceed sales goal is required.

  • The ability to manage a long, complex sales cycle in the technology arena is required.

  • Strong time management skills are necessary.

  • An enthusiastic, can-do attitude is required!

  • A strong desire to win, yet maintaining the utmost of integrity during the sales process, is required.

  • The ability to qualify and close complex and technical sales opportunities is required.

  • A high level of initiative to contribute ideas while working in a team environment is necessary.

  • Experience with CRM/database tools is required.

  • The ability to work remotely with limited supervision is required.

  • A strong sense of urgency and responsibility are required.

Preferred

  • An understanding of financial accounting and information systems is strongly preferred.

  • Experience selling into process/discrete manufacturing, distribution, and construction is preferred.

  • Experience with CRM for opportunity tracking is preferred.

Compensation

Compensation is commensurate with knowledge, skills, and experience. The general compensation range for the Client Account Manager role is $80,000 to $120,000 per year, plus commission.
