Labcorp Specialty Support Programmer Analyst - Oncology in Remote, North Carolina

Labcorp is hiring a Programmer Analyst. This position is a process-related position, working with systems responsible for data including new and legacy systems. This person will take data from lab systems and create visualizations and provide that analysis to leaders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage complex projects through the entire software development life cycle

  • Develop software and solutions to complete data analyses using Alteryx, SQL, Excel, Visual Basic for Applications, Macros, Python, SAS, C#, Power BI, and other relevant software

  • Manage priorities appropriately, meet deadlines, and satisfy commitments

  • Identify and implement appropriate analytic and statistical methodologies

  • Determine trends and make recommendations based on analyses of data

  • Consult with users to define analytical and business requirements used to develop computer programs, analytic analyses, and reports

  • Produce and present results to business users

  • Generate monthly analyses for on-going projects

  • Automate the creation of reports and develop user interfaces for dynamic reporting

  • Create interactive Dashboards and Statistical Control Charts

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in cross functional team environment

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong working knowledge of Alteryx Designer workflow development techniques (design and modification), relational databases (DB2, SQL-Server, etc.), and SAS programming techniques (design and modification)

  • Familiarity with Labcorp Billing Systems, including Subsidiary Billing Systems

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Proven ability to:

  • Convert complex business requirements and rules into programming logic and code

  • Trouble-shoot and debug data and programming issues

  • Read in and manipulate data from multiple data sources

  • Effectively manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment

  • Work and transform large complex data

  • Create ETLs using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

  • Design and maintain SSRS reports

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Work independently with minimal supervision

  • Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Ability to develop in an agile environment

  • Proficiency with SQL programming

  • Strong Alteryx Designer development experience

  • Strong SAS programming skills

  • Knowledge of the following:

  • Client, Billing, Lab, and Remittance Data Mart

  • C# programming methods

  • Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx

  • Crystal Reporting

  • Statistical methods

EDUCATION

  • BS or BA with 3 or more years of related work experience.

  • Associate Degree with 6 or more years of related work experience.

Pay Range: $75,000 – 105,000 annual salary
