What you'll do... :

JOB SUMMARY

As a Training Developer (S), you will assist in developing Client Care training for our field associates. You'll also assist in creating training videos to demonstrate how our tax office systems work, or how to access and read reports in DSA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will work closely with our Senior Training Developers and your squad to write content that fits in our micro-learning strategy—content includes training for all field roles as well as videos, job aids, and suggested scripting to help our associates.

  • You’ll use templates within Habitat (our e-learning platform) to ensure content meets our brand standards and maintains consistency throughout all courses.

  • As needed, you’ll participate in stakeholder meetings to better understand key business initiatives and develop training to support these initiatives.

What you'll bring to the team... :

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Adult Education, Educational Technology, or related field; or the equivalent through combination of education and tax office experience.

Work Experience:

  • Tax office knowledge

  • Excellent time management skills—you’ve demonstrated the ability to establish priorities, organize and plan work to satisfy established timeframes.

  • Strong writing skills

  • Proficient using a Windows-based computer system.

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Work well with others—collaboration is the key to success for this team.

  • Ability to adapt to a variety of business situations.

  • At least 3 years’ experience in content development of which 2 years is in a financial services or tax environment.

  • Experience in course development, and/or instructional project management.

  • Knowledge of instructional design theory, concepts, principles, and techniques.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning theory and learning styles.
