Support Services Group Junior Security Administrator in Remote, Mexico

We are seeking a motivated Junior Security Administrator to join our team. This role will focus on policy writing, compliance management, and responding to security questionnaires. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in cybersecurity, excellent writing skills, and the ability to implement security policies effectively. Experience in BPO environments is a definite plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines based on industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI, HiTrust and SOC through audits and assessments.

  • Collaborate with teams to address security questionnaire inquiries from clients and partners.

  • Research emerging security threats and mitigation strategies.

  • Monitor Security Alerts

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience in a similar role.

  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

  • Experience with policy writing and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI, HiTrust and SOC).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Strong English language skills.

  • Experience in BPO environments is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or CISA are advantageous.

  • Familiarity with security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS) is beneficial.
