About the Role

We are currently seeking talented full-stack engineer candidates in the United States with a strong emphasis on backend technologies. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with our web development team to design, develop, enhance, maintain, and troubleshoot our entire web infrastructure, with a particular focus on backend systems and APIs. From architecting robust solutions to deploying scalable code in production, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our platform. You will have the autonomy to drive initiatives independently while working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Experience building B2C end-user facing e-commerce web sites at scale

  • 4+ years of experience in full-stack development

  • 4+ years of experience in backend languages including TypeScript and Python

  • 4+ years experience supporting web service backends

  • 3+ years of experience with Node.js

  • 2+ years SQL experience

  • 1+ year of experience with React frontend framework

  • Strong experience with building and consuming REST APIs

  • Grasp of server-side frameworks like Express.js

  • Proficiency in one or more application state management libraries such as Redux or Flux

  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (Postgres, MongoDB)

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS

  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines

  • Proficient in designing systems and relational database schema design

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders alike

  • Proficient in effective troubleshooting and issue resolution techniques.

  • Experience being a fulltime (no contract) employee in a startup environment.

  • Based in the United States
