Centene Corporation Sr Actuarial Analyst - REMOTE in Remote - MA, Massachusetts

Position Purpose:

Assist in financial analysis, pricing and risk assessment to estimate outcomes.

Office Locations: Woodland Hills, CA or Tampa, FL

In this Sr. Actuarial Analyst role, you will:

  • Apply knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics, principles of finance and business to calculate financial outcomes

  • Provide support with Medicare forecast process

  • Provide support with developing various assumptions for Medicare Bid development

  • Assist with all aspects of Medicare Supplement forecast

  • Research, analyze and explain forecast variances

  • Collaborate with Market Actuaries, Finance and Accounting departments to document assumptions, highlight material changes in data or methodology and improve forecast accuracy

  • Develop and run data reports and projection models

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. Combination of years of experience and number of actuarial exams passed equals or exceeds 5 (Rule of 5). For example, 2 years of actuarial experience and 3 passed actuarial exams.
