TMG Business Development Representative in Remote, Illinois
We are looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to help our organization reach its next level of growth. As a BDR, you will be responsible for generating pipeline to fuel new client acquisition. This role requires an entrepreneurial, driven and passionate salesperson who is highly motivated by identifying and penetrating new accounts in the digital space. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in the technology or professional services industry, located in the Greater Chicago area (2 days in-office, 3 days remote).
What you'll be doing:
Uncover new business opportunities through emailing, cold calling, and prospecting against self-generated target account lists
Identify, schedule and contribute to introduction conversations with prospects
Consistently meet weekly meeting quotas as well as quarterly/annual sales goals
Execute lead generation programs to set prospect appointments to drive net-new revenue opportunities into TMG's pipeline
Demonstrate knowledge about our solution offerings while communicating these offerings effectively
Update firm's CRM system with opportunity information
Daily and weekly reports on the status of prospect meetings and activity
Drive lead generation at events by engaging with prospects
Your experience and attributes should include:
1-3 years' experience in an inside sales role with a rapidly growing professional services or high growth technology company
Must have a confident, competitive, eager and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
Self-directed starter with a strong business acumen
Hunger to source new business
Ability to execute campaigns with a heightened sense of urgency
Creativity and determination in prospect outreach
Ability to quickly establish trust
Demonstrated success in reaching decision makers and quickly determining a qualified sales opportunity
Performs all job responsibilities with total integrity and accountability
Organizational and planning skills
Excellent written and verbal communication

Hybrid model - Working 2 days/week in the Chicago office, 3 days/week flex to work remotely
