REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIERNCE

  • 4-year college degree

  • Minimum 3 years direct sales, category management, sales operations experience

  • Solid analytical skills

  • Strong project management, planning and organizational skills

  • Self-motivated and able to independently structure and lead complex analyses

  • Working knowledge of syndicated data (Circana)

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Assists in the development of the Annual Business Plans with Manager.

  • Helps develop customer plans which incorporates programs that achieve each Business Unit’s objectives and goals (i.e. net sales, profit, volume, and share)while aligning with each customer objectives by category.

  • Works cross-functionally with Demand, Supply Chain and Customer Service teammates (as needed) to manage inventory vs. forecasts with direct responsibility for submitting the monthly forecast to demand.

  • Direct responsibility for Demantra/Plato item forecast, and event set up/update management.

  • Collaborates with the Business Unit Sales Strategy Teams to create new packs.

  • As directed, takes on full responsibility of managing the customer relationship, customer meetings, presentations, forecasting, Ad submission and trade management for some customers.

  • Shared responsibility for the analysis and publishing of the Channel’s Weekly Reports leveraging Circana retailer data.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Work with Manager to develop/deliver Long Range Planning and Annual Line Review presentations to accomplish 4P objectives and achieve annual plan.

  2. As directed, partner with Business Unit Sales Strategy and Channel Team Leader in managing trade spend to drive profitable net sales and within trade spend guidelines and strive to maintain a zero-deduction balance over 30 days.

  3. In partnership with manager, offers recommendations against all 4P (Product, Placement, Pricing, Promotion) objectives and own the 4P objectives for Edgewell.

  4. Work weekly with Customer service, Supply, and Demand teams (as needed) to monitor inventory vs forecast.

  5. Conduct on-going business analyses including account specific reports (i.e. Circana, Nielsen), Business reviews, new item tracking, pricing reports (i.e. promo vs. non-promo pricing swings), internal metric tracking (i.e., shipments, profit, supply chain, and forecasting, OH Retail Reports), and other account score-carding requirements.

  6. Shared responsibility to measure both the effectiveness and efficiency of all promotions.

  7. Leverage category data, in-market visits, and online activity to gain category expertise to mitigate risks, pursue opportunities, and stay ahead of competitive trends.

  8. Own Customer Event management in Plato inclusive of event set up, updates, with direct management of some retailers.

  9. Penetrate Edgewell Business Units to build relationships across multiple, cross-functional departments.

  10. Own the new item setup process at customers inclusive of new item forms, IDM, price list.

  11. Partner with ecommerce Manager to ensure all Digital content is up to date and accurate for Channel customers (also work with Digital Shopping support to set up retail media).

The salary range for this position is $84,000 - $115,000. Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance.
