Outside Senior Software Engineer in Remote, Colorado

What you will do:

  • Plan & develop critical path features for our subscription & identity management platform

  • Mentor team members on development best practices and provide guidance on Python, Django, and Django Rest Framework (DRF)

  • Review PRs, create & contribute to technical designs, resolve bugs, and collaborate with developers building off our platform

  • Work with engineering, product management and product design to improve and support a seamless user management integration across products

This describes you:

  • You have 7+ years of software engineering experience

  • You have 4+ years of experience with Django, Python, and Django Rest Framework (DRF)

  • You build software with security, performance, and monitoring in mind from the beginning, keeping up with recommendations and best practices along the way

  • You're a collaborative team player who celebrates the success of your team

Nice to have:

  • You've built APIs using payment providers like Stripe, Braintree, and mobile payments (Apple/Google)

  • Experience with a relational database like Postgres or MySQL

  • Experience building with cloud providers such as AWS & GCP

Entirely remote jobs that could be performed in Colorado: Employees can expect to be paid a salary of between $140,000 - $175,000. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission . Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, Flexible Time Away, sick leave, and more.
