Solutions Manager, Transportation

Responsible for multiple solutions within the Transportation industry segment. Identifies, documents, proposes and drives specific solutions. Accountable for the business success of the solutions in scope. Has deep knowledge of the target user community, value proposition and products used in the solutions.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Work with leaders, managers, and colleagues across every business unit in order to foster new industry solutions from ideation to commercialization (Ideation, Definition, Prototyping, Design, User Acceptance, Commercialization).

  • Provide thought leadership around Bentley products and cloud services by staying abreast of current tools, technologies, and key product announcements.

  • Clearly demonstrate value across the entire portfolio that drives overall user acquisition and depth of usage across the entire transportation portfolio.

  • Lead the strategy and implementation of customer growth product initiatives.

  • Own the process of collecting growth ideas, shaping them into hypotheses, prioritizing them, running AB tests, and reporting on outcomes across the portfolio and driving proposals for packaging/pricing.

  • Create business cases to drive internal investments, partnerships, and mergers & acquisitions.

  • Evaluate, challenge, and adjust strategic go-to-market plans, including pricing & product packaging, to meet evolving business and market requirements.

  • Work with key customers and industry groups to identify market opportunities and persistent gaps to be addressed to add value to customers.

  • Conduct internal and external research on the market, competitors, and customer personas.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to define and develop sales tools" "Position requires an individual to have a strong background and understanding of the focus industry across design, build and operate workflows.

Required Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge of infrastructure design, build and operate workflows.

  • Highly accountable; takes ownership and drives sense of urgency.

  • Strong leadership skills, with a highly collaborative yet decisive approach.

  • Strong negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Driven, self-starter; comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment.

  • Clear, concise communicator, able to drive consensus.

  • Deep understanding of engineering, construction and operation workflows as it relates to transportation infrastructure and its supporting technology landscape.

Desired Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product/program management and/or product marketing.

  • 5+ years of management experience leading teams and delivering results.
