Precise Solutions Data Visualization Analyst in REMOTE ALL 50 STATES USA, Illinois

At Precise Solutions, we are looking for top talent consultants to bring on as employees of our organization and service our clients in the various Life Sciences Industries.  We are much more than a consulting firm! Job Title: Data Visualization Analyst- PowerBI, ServiceNow, SAP, Jira

Location:  Lake County, IL - hybrid (on-site 3 days per week)

Compensation:  $47.00 per hour, Paid Time off, Company 401k contributions, Health, dental, and vision insurance.  Total Annual Compensation including benefits is $ 109,000.00

    Data Analyst Job Description

  • Develop and manage complex data models, datasets, and reports using tools such as PowerBI, SNOW, SAP, and Jira.

  • Transform raw data into visually appealing and impactful dashboards and reports.

  • Collaborate with delivery teams to gather reporting requirements and understand data needs.

  • Design and implement innovative data visualizations with OBI that effectively communicate insights.

  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets.

  • Optimize and ensure the performance of our Health Index through PowerBI reports and dashboards.

  • Assist with document processes related to data governance and visualization.

    Data Visualization Analyst REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel: A strong understanding of Excel including knowledge of formulas, functions, data manipulation, sorting, filtering, pivot tables, and data visualization.

  • Power BI expertise: Familiarity with Power BI. This includes the ability to create dashboards, reports, and visualizations, as well as knowledge of data modeling, DAX formulas, and data transformation.

  • Data analysis skills: Strong analytical skills to extract insights from data. Ability to identify trends, patterns, and outliers, as well as conduct statistical analysis and data profiling.

  • Statistical knowledge: A understanding of statistics is valuable for data analysts. Knowledge of statistical concepts, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and data sampling techniques can help in interpreting and analyzing data accurately.

  • Data visualization: The ability to present data in a visually appealing and meaningful way. Familiarity with various data visualization tools and techniques, such as charts, graphs, and interactive dashboards

  • Problem-solving skills: ability to identify problems, develop analytical approaches, and propose data-driven solutions.

  • Attention to detail: Accuracy and attention to detail to ensure that data is clean, properly formatted, and correctly interpreted to avoid errors in analysis.

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and a team player.
