Applied Materials Senior Software Engineer in Rehovot, Israel

We are looking for a highly talented developer to join our Product software development team. As a member of the team you will make an impact on product capabilities and software design, while being surrounded by a strong technical team.

What you'll be doing:

  • Research, design, implement and deliver high quality software with adherence to AMAT technical standards.

  • Collaborate with developers outside the team to determine best practices and effective way of working.

  • Work closely with the Algorithm team to integrate cutting edge algorithms into the SW task distribution framework

  • Constantly grow and develop.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable 5+ years of solid experience in Java, preferable in a large enterprise environment.

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, integration and debugging skills.

  • Strong research skills to integrate existing/new technologies.

  • SW design capabilities and object-oriented programming skills.

  • Capable of taking full task ownership and work independently.

  • Great team player.

  • Bachelor's degree in either Computing Science, Computing Eng.
