Applied Materials global information services group is looking for a highly talented team member to join our group in Israel as business relationship manager.

What’s in it for you?

As IT Business Relationship Manager, you will drive the strategic interface between IT and different business divisions for the purpose of business & technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management, and relationship management. This role provides strategic consulting support and guidance through key IT initiatives. You will be responsible for understanding the business, assisting in the prioritization of projects, ensuring that projects align with the technology that provides maximum return on investment, and directing IT strategy in support of the overall business strategy.

The position reports to the IT country manger in Israel.

What you'll * be doing* :

  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with business groups and act as a liaison between IT and business end-users.

  • Work with business leadership to plan new joint initiatives, evaluate proposals, and determine how they fit into business capability roadmaps and priorities.

  • Think strategically by identifying business opportunities and the best-suited position within the organization.

  • Ensure that project/department milestones/goals are met while adhering to approved budgets.

  • Identify ways to increase adoption and customer satisfaction.

  • Demonstrated ability to work across multiple business units to achieve results.

  • Manage the portfolio of projects and their interdependencies.

  • Monitor the performance of IT services and systems to ensure they meet the needs of the business.

  • Oversees/manages contingent workers performing services across multiple projects or service areas.

  • Doing all that without direct authority (matrix management and collaboration)

What should you have?

  • 8+ years of experience in similar influential roles.

  • 5+ years of hands-on ERP / CRM / Data / business applications as functional analyst or developer.

  • Proven experience working with business leaders and senior managements.

  • BA / B.sc in relevant field, MBA / M.sc - preferred.

  • Strong business and financial understanding.

  • Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills.

  • Effective conflict management skills.

  • Ability to effectively amplify signals when business issues are truly impactful, reducing noise when they are not, and have the maturity to know the difference.

  • Experience with global work environment and global culture orientated.

  • Experience with large companies, international companies experience preferred.

  • Travel abroad as needed (about 10%)
