Joon Georgia Inc. (Ajin Georgia) Quality Manager in Register, Georgia

MAJOR FUNCTION

  1. Maintains quality management system in compliance with ISO/TS 16949 requirements and customer specification
  2. Monitors standards of the organization or quality process
  3. Manages current process improvement and new process development
  4. Develops plans for annual internal and external QMS audit plans
  5. Trains internal auditors, department specialists/team members

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Conducts and completes internal audits based on annual internal audit schedule
  2. Manages 2nd and 3rd party quality system audits
  3. Supervises the department team members
  4. Manages financial information
  5. Leads quality innovation activities (setting up goal/periodic monitoring, etc.)
  6. Develops quality strategy planning
  7. Controls failure cost (internal failure cost/field claims/customer downtime cost, etc.)
  8. Forecasts field quality issue trends
  9. Develops annual business plan, management review, financial reports
  10. Review and approve department documents
  11. Monitors and resolves internal and external customer concerns
  12. Develops corrective action plan for customer claims,
  13. Performs other duties as assigned
  14. Communicates with customer (Hyundai and KIA)

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB

  1. Bachelors degree or above in engineering field and 5 years or more related field experience required
  2. 5 years or more of process improvement experience preferred
  3. ISO/TS 16949 Internal Auditor certification required
  4. SPC, MSA, FMEA, Control Plan, fixture planning experiences required
  5. Proficiency in Window Excel, Power Point, Word, CAD required
  6. An individual must demonstrate strong supervisory, interpersonal, communication skills
  7. Capability to perform multi-tasks
