The overall scope of the role is to carry out servicing and repairs to customer and company owned equipment with a focus on elevated work platforms and telehandlers in the field and workshop as required.

  • Carry out inspections, servicing and repairs of equipment with a focus on elevating work platforms, telehandlers and lighting towers

  • When attending to customer’s sites make every effort to repair machines on site limiting the need to transport the machines off site

  • Be available to travel including overnight accommodation when requested

  • Responsible for completing all appropriate paperwork and inspection forms required by JLG policy, Australian Standards and customer and/or site requirements

  • Must be available to work in the workshop at times when no field service jobs are available

  • Responsible for notifying the Field Service Coordinator if repairs or services can’t be completed during visit and the reason why

  • As a Field Service Technician you are also required to carry out general duties from time to time as requested by the Branch Manager
