This position is for the development of Vitesco owned ASICs and Functional Semiconductor Blocks.

Vitesco Technologies is a leading international developer and manufacturer of modern drive technologies for sustainable mobility. With intelligent system solutions and components for electric, hybrid and combustion drives, Vitesco Technologies makes mobility clean, efficient and affordable. The product portfolio includes electric drives, electronic controls, sensors and actuators as well as solutions for exhaust gas aftertreatment.

Job description:

  • electric drives, solenoid drivers) and Vitesco owned functional ASIC block library

  • Close cooperation with the ASIC design team regarding design verification, to understand the functionality and details of the design

  • Supporting ASIC design team for ASICs developed at external design partners with expertise regarding verification.

  • Delving into design (incl. layout), simulation results and test results

  • Involvement already during ASIC concept phase for optimizing the ASIC in the early phase already for best verification approach

  • Close cooperation with silicon foundries (e.g. GlobalFoundries, TSMC …) for exclusive Vitesco ASICs

  • Support new concepts to reduce time to market

Job requirements:

  • Academic degree in electrical engineering or equivalent

  • Long-time professional experience in ASIC design and verification

  • Academic degree in electrical engineering or equivalent

  • Knowledge and experience regarding semiconductor processes to consider process specialties in the verification process

  • Project experience, especially related to ASIC Design

  • Fluent proficiency in spoken and written English language, German appreciated

  • Good communication skills and ability to work in intercultural teams, personal initiative, high engagement
