VectorCSP is looking for an experienced Logistics Analyst-Intermediate (MDA) to work in the Hunstville, AL area.

Job Summary: This position will identify logistics requirements and associated product support for the MissileDefense Agency (MDA) Missile Defense System (MDS) Life-Cycle Management Directorate(LM) and effectively design, develop, acquire and apply the 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS)elements to ensure MDS mission success.

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of BA/BS

  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in Logistics acquisition, operation and/orsustainment

  • Experience working as an effective team member providing logistics support capability and solvecomplex life-cycle logistics problems..

Essential Duties:

  • Support the acquisition development, implementation, deployment, sustainment, andassessment of processes, procedures, plans and policies to acquire and sustain theMDS throughout the Integrated Defense Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics LifeCycle Management System.

  • The types of support required includes: 1) engineering and technical support; 2) studies,analyses, and evaluations, and 3) management and professional services..

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to apply sound judgment to develop life-cycle logistics policies, plans, proceduresand documents.

  • Ability to identify and apply concepts, policies and practices of logistics management asthey apply to new and legacy systems during the acquisition and sustainment phase ofthe life-cycle.

  • Ability to use applicable methods and tools to effectively mitigate risks, includingplanning for risk, assessing risk areas and developing risk management options.

  • Experience executing and maintaining product support requirements for GovernmentFurnished Property GFP), transportation, Property Accountability, non-tactical vehicles,Item Unique Identification (IUID), and Communication Security mission equipment andrequirements.

  • Experience identifying and applying logistics product data and making recommendationsregarding legacy/operational products and services for improvement during operationand sustainment of the life cycle logistics phase.

  • Demonstrate purchasing and procurement, packaging, handling, storing, andtransporting, receiving and issue, and inventory management of various product supportequipment, repair parts, tools, consumable items, hazardous materials in CONUS andOCONUS.
