Honeywell Sr Field Service Technician in Redmond, Washington
As a Sr Field Service Technician - Access Control/Fire Alarm here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in providing technical support and service for access control and fire alarm systems. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining these systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide timely and effective solutions. You will report directly to our Field Service Manager and you'll work out of our Redmond, WA location. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our field service operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of access control and fire alarm systems, resolving technical issues, and providing exceptional customer service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain access control and fire alarm systems
Conduct system inspections and preventive maintenance activities
Respond to customer service calls and provide timely and effective solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues
Provide training and support to customers on system operation and maintenance
The annual base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $81,300. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. YOU MUST HAVE
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 6 years of proven experience in field service technician role
Experience with access control systems or fire alarm systems
Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
WE VALUE
Certification or training in access control systems or fire alarm systems
Experience with other building systems (e.g., HVAC, security)
Knowledge of relevant codes and regulations
NICET I or II
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
