BENEFITS ANALYST RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with design, implementation, and day-to-day administration of benefit programs, including health & welfare benefit plans, 401(k) plan, and other employee services Support annual benefits open enrollment planning and execution. Help develop effective communication strategy to educate and reach diverse employee population Advise and counsel employees and dependents on day-to-day benefit-related questions (via email, phone, walk-ups, and drop-in sessions) Partner with finance, payroll, HRIS, legal, and vendors to effectively and efficiently perform all aspects of benefit program management, including ensuring accuracy of benefit deductions and streamlining current processes and procedures to ensure proper data flow to relevant parties Assist with provider premium billing statements and resolve any discrepancies Keep abreast of policies, legislative changes, and legal requirements, such as ERISA, HIPAA, and the Affordable Care Act to assist with plan compliance efforts. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to: Company wellness initiatives and employee services Commuter program support BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree 5+ years of human resources experience in a generalist or benefits administration PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Benefits or human resources certification and affiliations (CEBS, PHR, etc.) Ability to use independent judgment and prioritize work Demonstrated excellence thriving in a fast-paced environment Effective verbal, written, and presentation communication skills Demonstrate proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel Attention to detail and commitment to quality Highly collaborative style and strong team orientation Highly organized with ability to manage multiple high-priorities in a fast-paced, loosely structured environment Bilingual in Spanish and English ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: This is not a remote or hybrid position and will require relocation if not already local to the Redmond, WA area Position occasionally requires the ability to work extended hours or weekends when needed Ability to travel to other SpaceX offices as needed COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Pay range: Sr. Benefits Analyst: $110,000.00 - $145,000.00/per year Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
