As a Senior Software Engineer in the Deployment team, you’ll have the opportunity to make high impact changes daily. Responsibilities
Lead the design, analysis, development, deployment, testing and operational efforts for multiple enterprise services
Drives identification of dependencies across Storage services and the development of design documents for the services/platform
Be a champion of driving mature Software engineering standards and practices with the team/wider organization
Mentor and guide other engineers internal and external to the team and, acting as a technical leader
Proactively seeks new knowledge and adapts to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
OR equivalent experience.
4+ years of experiences in developing with C#, C++, or any equivalent high-level programming language
4+ years of experiences working with software profilers, performance tuning and working knowledge of OS/Kernel and developing large-scale, high availability services
4+ years of experience working on large-scale Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment systems
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science

OR Python
OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
OR equivalent experience.
Problem solver with excellent coding and debugging skills with a deep understanding of software design principlesVerbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
