Actalent Program Manager Tech 4 in Redmond, Washington

REMOTE Contract Job Opportunity.

Description:

• Write Requirements for the Compete Match Tool

• Conduct UAT for owned requirements

• Partner with engineering and stakeholder teams to plan and deliver on functional and user acceptance testing

• Work across all stages of product lifecycle from product definition, planning, release, modifications, maintenance, and feature deprecation

• Monitor systems for data quality and accuracy

• Status reporting and communication of planned and in-flight work

We are seeking a skilled Technical Program Manager for this req. In this role, contractors will be responsible for writing Requirements for the Compete Match Tool (CMT), which the team uses to compare Azure pricing with Amazon Web Services (AWS) published prices. The contractor will work closely with our FTE Technical PM, Engineering team from another division, and business stakeholders to define requirements, manage delivery, manage UAT, and report on progress.

Ideal candidate experience:

• 8 or more years of experience in technical program and project management

• Ability to proactively identify issues and coordinate resolutions.

• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders as part of a Technical PM team and as an individual with our partner team process, technical and business managers

A Technical PM is responsible for writing Requirements to design, build, and validate software applications. They are expected to have a strong understanding of both program management and project management. 8+ years of relevant experience required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Years of Experience Required: 8 overall years of experience in the field.

• Degrees or certifications required: No degree is required to be eligible for this role, but degree/certifications in relevant areas are preferred.

• Disqualifiers: Candidates with multiple short contracts (less than 3 months), no spec writing experience included with resume (example of their writing MUST be included with submittal), have resume errors/poor formatting, or an overall unwillingness to learn will not be eligible for the role.

• Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain more than 8 years of experience, a variety of spec writing, heavy experience with UAT, a variety of certifications/tooling experience, more than 1 included example of the candidate’s spec writing, and some experience with business analysts type skills.

• Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on quality of work and deadlines.
