Albireo Energy, LLC Design Engineer in Redmond, Washington

This position exercises ownership over the project engineering process for small-to-large size projects in coordination project management and systems integration in a mentor-mentee oriented approach. This position is ideal for anyone looking to continue their career growth and expand their leadership skills in diverse applications including rail infrastructure, data centers, critical environments, and other IACS.

In this position your duties will entail:

  • Electrical control circuit design, review, and documentation.

  • Development and review of control sequences.

  • Development and review of conduit and communications equipment schedules.

  • Subcontractor coordination, product review, and best practices implementation.

  • Support of field activities such as installation, commissioning, and site investigations.

  • Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing as required.

  • Preparation of proposals and review of plans and specifications.

  • Meeting and presentations to customers, internal and external.

  • Check performance and conformity with plans and specifications through field inspection and testing.

  • Preparation of technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in Electrical circuit design. Experience managing subcontracted electrical design is a plus.

  • Demonstrated understanding of common industrial communication protocols and installation requirements.

  • Demonstrated experience with Bluebeam or equivalent.

  • 5+ years experience in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Microsoft Visio or equivalent.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Experience in PLC and/or HMI programming is a plus.

  • Experience with large construction projects is a plus.

  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products including Outlook, Word and Excel.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.

Pay Rate: $37-$53/hr. DOE.
