JLL Culinary Facility Technician in Redmond, Washington

Pay: $50000 - $70000 / year (hourly position) Schedule: M-F; 7a-4p (flexible); on call as needed Location: Redmond, WA | Meta Campus Responsibilities - Oversee operation, repair, Preventative Maintenance (P.M.) relating to site/metro culinary equipment and systems; determine frequency of repair and/or P.M. of systems. Understand the engineering design and operational aspects of the building and critical support systems and components as they interact with the kitchens/cafes. Must be able to immediately recognize system shortcomings, troubleshoot and respond to operational and emergency situations. Monitors operation and maintains systems directly related to each kitchen/cafe, water cooling/heating equipment; heating and hot water equipment; pumps, valves, piping and filters. Position will be called upon to review and ensure proper logs, operation of equipment; responsible for reporting any problems/malfunctions on an as needed basis. Check malfunctioning equipment, and ascertains corrective action required to restore to satisfactory operating condition Confers/communicates with work order requestors and culinary staff. Coordinates with client representatives to understand their needs, and ensure the work scheduled takes into account the operational windows for repair. Prioritize all PM's, corrective, and emergency work orders for the site/metro (annual, monthly, weekly, and daily). Schedule work and coordinate repairs if outside current capabilities with vendors. Maintains a clean and safe working environment. Complies with health departmental policies: while maintaining equipment, verifying operations, and disposal of hazardous waste or materials. Complete all assigned JLL and Client required training, and comply with the established training standards at all times. Performs any and all other tasks and duties assigned Requirements 3+ years of facility maintenance experience; culinary repair experience highly preferred High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Trades schooling, technical, or vocational schooling completed Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate well both in oral and written reports Ability to frequently lift 40 lb.
