About the Role

The purpose of this position is to assist in managing and coordinating the activities of the furniture warehouse teams and ensure that initiatives and programs are aligned with the client's business needs, goals and objectives.

What You’ll Do

Manages and organizes with minimal supervision the activities of the furniture warehouse technicians to ensure quality, safety, and productivity standards are met or exceeded.

Develops, analyzes, and reviews workflows in order to optimize effectiveness and efficiency of warehouse processes.

Allocates resources between projects and daily requirements to maximize efficiencies and meet customer needs.

Determines and prioritizes workload in order to be prepared to make proactive decisions to meet daily business demands.

Assists Management in developing and implementing incentive programs, process improvements, and ensuring compliance to safety programs and regulations.

Oversees workflow and tracking within the CMMS system to ensure accuracy and integrity of work product.

Accountable for processing to support Inventory accuracy

Other duties may be assigned

Provides formal supervision to individual employees within a work unit and/or group. Responsible for identifying training needs, tracking performance, coaching, and motivating direct reports. Provides input into hiring, terminating, compensation, and performance evaluation.

What You’ll Need

Ability to manage personnel/workload across multiple facilities.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred. Minimum of four years of related experience and/or training. 2 years previous supervisory related work experience required.

Certified forklift operating license required - can be obtained at a later date.

Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

Warehouse experience preferred.

Good verbal and written communication skills

Washington Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Assistant Warehouse Manager position is $70,000 and the maximum salary for the Warehouse Manager position is $75,000. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
