We have an outstanding Contract position for anAssembler to join a leading Company located in theRedmond, WAsurrounding area.

Pay Rate: $22.00 - $26.00

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform skilled technician work and apply knowledge of the design and function that involves diagnosis, replacement, repair, and rebuilding of a variety of equipment, components and/or systems.

  • Use diagnostic equipment and a variety of tools specific to the trade.

  • Apply principles and practices of electrical and electronics theory.

  • Proficient in understanding technical manuals such as blueprints, CMMs, customer POs, manufacturer's data, and repair instruction sheets.

  • Assist with research and development of new repair capabilities. This will include reading and understanding new manuals and may include on and off-site training.

    Basic Hiring Criteria:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • A combination of education, training, work, and/or other life experience that would provide reasonable assurance that the required knowledge and skills have been acquired by the applicant.

  • Has basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical devices such as small electrical motors and actuators, mechanical and pneumatic valves, and AC/DC lighting systems (Computer hardware, circuit boards, microchips, and basic programming for our avionics section).

  • Familiar with inspection methods, techniques, practices, visual aids, equipment, and tools used to determine the airworthiness of the units being repaired.

  • Can read and interpret wiring diagrams and component schematics to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.

  • Has the ability to accomplish basic soldering and wiring tasks (circuit board repair such as surface mount and through-hole soldering for our avionics section) and has a good understanding of corrosion control methods and remedies.

  • Proficient with Office software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Must be able to read, write and understand English fluently.

  • Ability to apply basic mathematics to convert metric and/or standard rates of flow, torque, load, and distance measurements.
