Robert Half Software Developer Contractor – Blazor focused in Red Wing, Minnesota

Description

We are offering an opportunity for a Software Developer in the manufacturing industry, located in the south east metro of the Twin Cities, Minnesota. This role will require the individual to lead, guide, and train others in various software development processes. The workplace will be a hybrid model, allowing for both remote and in-person work, and the employment type is temporary.

We're seeking an expert-level C# language developer with a deep understanding of its history and tools, as well as experience with Blazor. Knowledge of Blazor 8REST API is essential, both in terms of consumption and creation for consumption. The ideal candidate will demonstrate practical experience with design patterns and a deep understanding of object-oriented programming.

Familiarity with software development lifecycles is mandatory, with a preference for Agile and SAFe methods. The role requires exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to identify and document technical issues efficiently. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are also required, paired with excellent organizational and time-management abilities that will facilitate multitasking within strict timelines and budgets.

We highly value aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills, and encourage prospective applicants with these abilities to apply.

Preferred Skills & Abilities: Expertise in .NET development tools using C#, RESTful API development, service-oriented architecture, and unit testing using industry best practices is highly desirable. Experience in developing cloud-based applications and thorough understanding of cloud-based infrastructure will be advantageous.

The ideal candidate should have experience with messaging concepts and implementations, such as Azure Service Bus. Proficiency in API gateway deployment using Azure APIM or similar concepts is desired, as well as Infrastructure as Code implementation to automate the provisioning and deployment of Cloud resources.

Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment using Azure DevOps is also desirable, as is experience with serverless concepts and basic web development using HTML, ASP.NET, AJAX and JavaScript.

The project involves creating a web-based application using Blazor. The application will provide a robust user experience for employees across the United States and may eventually replace several other related business apps. This application will be used as a template for other business apps to provide a centralized view of multiple capabilities.
