Responsibilities
The Community CRNA position is a unique role at the Mayo Clinic. We are looking for CRNAs who find energy and joy putting their patient’s first while working in a variety of anesthesia practice models in the MCHS: solo anesthesia practices, CRNA only practices, and Anesthesia Team Model practices. Successful candidates will be CRNAs who have excellent anesthesia skills, a compassionate spirit, is comfortable with ambiguity, enjoys working with a variety of people, and embodies the Mayo values in their day to day interactions. Candidates are required to be credentialed at each MCHS anesthesia site and orientation is on-going as the provider acquires full scope of practice skill levels over time. CRNAs are empowered to provide their best care. Call is limited, but required by all.

Qualifications
This position requires a registered nurse who has completed a formal program in nurse anesthesia. A minimum of a Master's degree required for all new hires after January 1, 2015. Graduate of a Council on Certification of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (COA) accredited school of nurse anesthesia.
A Doctoral (DNP, DNAP, DrAP, PhD) degree preferred.
