Aerotek Welder in Red Bud, Illinois

Aerotek is currently seeking candidates with any kind of MIG welding experience for a long-term career with a manufacturing company in Southern Illinois.

Job Description

Welders will be:

  • Performing MIG welding on a variety of projects on a daily basis

  • Working in a "job shop" environment where projects may differ on a daily/weekly/monthly basis

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints to assure first-time quality of products

  • Exercising creativity and a strong attention to detail while welding

Hard Skills

  • MIG Welding

  • Blueprint Reading

  • Fabrication

Shifts Available

  • 1st shift: 5:00am-3:30pm, Monday - Thursday (Overtime on Fridays and/or Saturdays when necessary)

  • 2nd shift: 3:30pm-2:00am, Monday - Thursday (Overtime on Fridays and/or Saturdays when necessary)

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Red Bud, Illinois.

Work Environment

Our work environment is a typical production warehouse with roughly 10-15 different welding bays operating simultaneously. The workspace can be loud at times and is not climate controlled
