Actalent Non-Conformance Documentation Specialist in Raritan, New Jersey

Great opportunity for candidates with experience conducting root cause / failure investigations in support of calibration non-conformances!


• Support the Site Instrument Officer during execution to the site calibration procedure

• Coordinate the activities associated with the non-conformance process by supporting engineers and gauge owners

• Responsible for conducting multiple reviews for conformance

• Perform database queries regarding usage of gauges or measurement devices that have failed calibration

• Research use scenarios for gauges as required

• Perform status queries in quality management system for out of tolerance gauges and measuring devices

• Report on status of Corrective Actions and pending resolution of calibration issues

• Support R&D calibrations during internal and external audits

• Provide regular communication with Engineering and Quality representatives as necessary to assist in resolving calibration issues.

• Maintain rapidly changing data in a proprietary database

• Perform other essential tasks, projects, and responsibilities as required

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Associate degree in a science related degree is preferred

• Experience in a technical administrative role is desired

• Proven experience with complex documentation management and database driven computer systems is desired

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications

• Proven ability to prioritize based on impact to business and deadlines

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift frequently

• Detail oriented, organized, and capable of working independently in a highly regulated environment

• Able to work across organizational boundaries, interfacing with multiple disciplines including Engineering, Quality, and Calibration personnel

• The ability to effectively communicate and ensure alignment between collaborative organizations is required

• Ability to train and mentor others

• Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices
