PeopleReady Manufacturing Production Associate in Rantoul, Illinois

PeopleReady of Downers Grove has an immediate opening for Manufacturing Production Associates in Rantoul, IL.

Leading Manufacturer of Building Materials has openings for Production Associates on both first and second shift.

Note – Pay Rate for this Job is $15.75/Hour-$16.25/Hour

Shift Timing - 1st Shift (Day)

Responsibilities Include:

  • Operate small and large machines in the production of doors

  • Work on door assembly line building doors

  • Inspect all product for quality

  • Machining doors for hardware installation

  • Material preparation and material handling

  • Staging and packaging finished product for delivery

  • Other general warehouse duties as needed

  • In all functions, maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety rules

 

Qualifications:

  • Past experience in commercial woodworking (doors, millwork, cabinets, etc.)

  • Past experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment

  • General knowledge of building materials

  • Can perform simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools"

  • Drug screen required

  • Background Check Required
