Vista Outdoor Inventory Control Manager - Bell-Giro in Rantoul, Illinois

Job Description

Bell-Giro is seeking a strategic-minded, solution oriented Inventory Manager responsible for leading all inventory efforts (both process and function), while driving positive culture change for our inventory processes. The Inventory Manager will be responsible for managing our physical inventory and controls and performing cycle counts. This position will also play a key role in managing cross-functional relationships within the businesses and in the development of inventory strategies to improve efficiencies and reduce variances.

Essential Functions:

  • Design and produce actionable scorecard reporting to include executive level summaries.

  • Safeguard inventory assets by implementing and maintaining an efficient cycle count strategy.

  • Maintain accurate records of all audits, counts, and adjustments. Confirm completion of cycle count activity daily.

  • Coordinate all physical inventory preparation and cutoff activities. This includes running valuation reports, reconciliation of final count variances, and all other reconciliation activities.

  • Execute daily inventory analysis; identify and resolve discrepancies and problems.

  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventory counts when necessary.

  • Locates items that may have incorrect locations or stock numbers to assist order processors.

  • Responsible for implementation and best practice for procedures and controls to ensure accuracy for all inventory.

  • Monitors and directs the work of others, provides vision and goals, performance feedback, coaching, and counseling.

  • Utilize proactive slotting and space utilization techniques based on distribution process analysis.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.

  • Solid knowledge of data analysis, inventory management software.

  • An analytical mind with strong attention to detail.

  • Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

  • SAP Experience a plus.

Pay Range:

$66,100.00 - $103,300.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
