\ Workers will perform duties as instructed and assigned by their supervisor. The worker will walk down the aisles between the plants in the corn fields to detassel seed corn and remove rogue plants, weeds, and volunteer corn plants from seed corn production fields. The worker may perform additional field and seed mill duties to include receiving and sorting green corn, loading and unloading corn into dryer bins, shelling corn, loading out silage and cobbs, and operating, cleaning, and storing the equipment associated therewith. Operate Forklift. In order to perform this kind of work, the worker must be able to work outside for at least 6 hours a day in all kinds of weather and be in possession of the requisite strength and endurance, working quickly and skillfully with their hands.

The employer will provide the tools necessary to perform the described job duties without charge to the worker. The employer will charge the worker for reasonable costs related to the workers refusal or negligent failure to return the tools or due to such workers willful damage or destruction of the tools.

The employer retains the right to discharge any obviously unqualified worker, malingerer, or recalcitrant worker who is physically able to complete the work but does not demonstrate a willingness to perform the work necessary for the employer to grow a premium quality product, or for any other lawful reason.

General Conditions: On the first workday, the employer will provide specific instructions and/or training (up to 1 hour) in the proper way to perform the crop activity. Thereafter, the worker will be expected to perform the task with diligence as instructed.
