Job Description

The Manufacturing Assembler position performs manual labor along a production line or in production cells assembling or disassembling various component parts. Team assemblers work on an assembly line, but they rotate through different tasks or perform the same or similar functions throughout the assembly process/shift.

As the Assembler you will have an opportunity to:

  • Follow product specifications to determine required assembly.

  • Check immediate assembly area for adequate supplies needed for the particular assembly.

  • Request supplies through appropriate channels.

  • Examine assembly and connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies following product specifications.

  • Resolve minor assembly and packing problems.

  • Report any assembly problems/issues to the supervisor for evaluation and resolution.

  • Use simple hand tools to perform job duties.

  • Operate and uses all equipment following standard work instructions and operating procedures.

  • Observe all safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.

  • Report all incidents/accidents/injuries immediately to Supervisor.

You have:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.

  • One to three (1-3) years’ experience in intricate hand assembly and/or general assembly in a manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Flexibility with work schedule and task changes. Be prepared to work overtime Friday and Saturdays as needed

  • Manual hand dexterity and the ability to carry out complex, repetitive tasks quickly.

  • Ability to push and pull when applying components to helmets.

  • Ability to operate the necessary equipment and to verify compliance with quality control standards.

  • Ability to regularly lift/ and or move up to 25 pounds.

  • Need good interpersonal and communication skills to be able to work well with their teammates.

  • Ability to stand or sit for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.

  • Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.

  • Assembly workers must be able to follow instructions carefully.

  • Careful attention to detail.

Exposure to noise, dust, and climate changes

Hours/Compensation/Benefits:

Hours : Monday-Thursday (10- hour shift)

Compensation: $15.00/hr.

Pay Range:

$15.00 - $15.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
