Position is based in California and supports all CommonSpirit Pharmacies within the state.

Job Summary / Purpose

The Region Director, Pharmacy Operations is responsible for developing Region-level strategies to implement the system-level strategy, vision, business and implementation plans to support pharmacy compliance, pharmacy revenue cycle , pharmacy data management and integrity, pharmacy technology, financial planning and budgeting, and operational improvement for the Region.

The role is accountable for managing, improving, and developing pharmacy business and operational functions and processes to support and improve pharmacy compliance, pharmacy revenue cycle, data integrity, selection and implementation of medication-related technology, and system, Region and local pharmacy performance reporting and dashboards. The Director will lead, plan, direct and coordinate the business operations within the scope of these functional areas and other areas of opportunity and work closely with the Region Director, Clinical Pharmacy Services.

Essential Key Job Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements, and oversees the Region strategy and tactical processes for Region-wide pharmacy operations and retail services:

  • Support and optimization of the 340B Program

  • Revenue cycle optimization

  • Implementation of technology services

  • Compliance

  • Data management, integrity and reporting

  • System-, Region-, and facility-level pharmacy performance reporting and dashboards

  • Retail pharmacies

  • Pharmacy procurement oversight

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • B.S. in Pharmacy with graduate degree or PharmD, residency/MBA is preferred

  • Active and current CA Pharmacy license

  • 10 years of Acute and Ambulatory Pharmacy Operations or Health-Systems experience

  • 7 years of leadership experience with a documented record of success in management

Pay Range

$84 - $135 /hour
