Quality Lab Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the Quality Manager

  • Train personnel in the Quality Lab process

  • Follow up, document and provide reports on Customer Line Returns, and Quality Lab metrics

  • Follow up and proper control of Flushing, GR&R, Master Compressors, etc. on the testing equipment.

  • Planning and follow up to compressor audits, pilots, special compressors, samples, etc.

  • Verify that the audits results are properly documented in the electronic systems (PPT, CATS, CPID, ETQ, ORACLE, MINITAB, ACCES, TAVANT).

  • Meet 100% of the Quality Lab objectives.

  • Follow and promote Safety standards in all the Quality Lab processes.

  • Implement and follow up to continues improvement and cost savings projects.

  • Follow up and meets all 5’s standards.

  • Provide support to different shifts following the directions provided by the Quality Manager

  • Solve Quality Lab equipment issues with the Lab Support Team from corporate.

  • Provide support to repair the Quality Lab equipment, following all safety procedures

Requirements:

  • Knowledge in GR&R performance.

  • Knowledge on electronic systems such as PPT, CATS, CPID, ETQ, ORACLE, MINITAB, ACCES, TAVANT.

  • Knowledge of quality tools.

  • Experience handling refrigerants, pumps and different type of oils.

  • Experience on calibration and test of Sip Global program equipment.

  • Use of Office programs.

  • Experience in the Winicals and Cope Stand programs use in the Quality Lab.

  • Basic knowledge in electronic, mechanic, electricity, refrigeration systems and welding equipment.

  • Availability to work on different shifts.

  • Experience in personnel management.

  • English 50%

  • Visa to travel to the US.

  • Availability to travel.

  • Experience in a similar position.

  • Engineering (Industrial, Electronic or Similar)
