QUALITY ENGINEER

RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Verifiable knowledge of problem-solving techniques (5 Why’s, 8D’s, Cause & Effect Diagram)

  • Verifiable knowledge of Statistical Process Control (X & R Charts, CPK, Control Limits).

  • Reading and Interpretation of Engineering Drawings

  • Use of MINITAB

  • Maintain Quality Process Control and PFMEA updated.

  • Developing and implement quality systems/processes related to new programs and projects.

  • Follow up of corrective action reports, including customer complaints, calibration system maintenance, advanced product quality planning (APQP), including PPAP, FMEA and control plan creation, SPC and MSA, inspection and test. Facilitate Continual improvement efforts.

  • Designing and implementing operational metrics to support day to day product quality system.

  • Resolving quality issues

  • Development of measurement system to meet customer requirements and facilitating continuous improvements activities.

  • Must be able to write, review and verify applicable specifications.

  • Support manufacturing, engineering, and quality in identification of root cause defect analysis and corrective actions implementation.

  • Supervise the Quality Auditors from Mainlines and Final Pack.

  • Process audits and analysis.

  • Implement incoming inspection procedures.

  • Initiates corrective action request as needed and tracks to satisfactory completion.

  • Non-conforming materials and MRB, Material review board management

  • Provide technical support for all inspection processes.

  • Review and approve Engineering Change Orders (ECO)

  • Work together with relevant teams and departments to improve products.

  • Brainstorm ideas to create solutions for identified problems.

  • Document results and findings after inspections are carried out.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred Mechanical, Industrial, Electronic.

  • Extensive experience in a quality assurance environment required.

  • High proficiency in computer technology and systems operations

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office applications

  • In-depth understanding of industry market trends and conditions

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Able to work efficiently in a team environment.

  • English language.
