The wage for this position is \$24.77.

Duties & Responsibilities

Experience and previous certification in various welding processes such as Fluxcore, Stick, Mig and/or Tig Welding. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and weld symbols.

Demonstrate proficiency in one or more of the welding processes for certification to welding structural and piping.

Work involves lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds or more, standing for long periods, bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, crawling, climbing, and reaching.

General

Follow all safety procedures and rules established in the facility. Wear proper PPE.

Keep all work areas clean and free of hazards. Notify supervisor of any safety hazards or damaged products.

Actively participate in all safety and other training programs.

Ability to multi task, set priorities, and meet strict deadlines.

Qualifications & Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have a focus on quality and accuracy and a desire to learn.

Minimum of 1+ years recent industrial experience performing comparable job duties.

One year of warehouse experience. Excellent attendance history. Forklift certification is a plus,

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete paperwork within defined procedures.

Ability to stay on task and organized with the well-defined duties and tasks.

Ability to recognize, read and match alpha-numeric location codes, box markings and product covers.

Demonstrate ability to communicate and work effectively with others.

Ability to work autonomously, collaboratively, and in a team environment. Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to obtain information and data that requires professionalism and tact.

Demonstrate technical aptitude. Able to quickly identify problems, pick up on new processes and technologies without a lot of guidance.

Ability to calculate simple math.

Some computer skills may be required.

Preferred Skills

Performs various fabrication duties including welding, cutting, fitting, pipe threading, machining, and operating equipment such as fork lifts, band saws, shears, drill press, end mills, lathes, press, etc.

Prepares material for fabrication shop duties including cutting and grinding of pieces as well as selection of hand and/or construction/shop drawings

Will be expect to acquire qualifications in the use of material handling equipment

Must have 1-2 years experience MIG welding, Fabrication

Able to read Blue prints

Must be dependable, have strong work ethic, and self-directing

Experience with general quality processes preferred.
