Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tradeshow Events Coordinator to join our client's team. The successful candidate will organize and execute all aspects of tradeshow planning and execution. This includes developing strategic event plans, coordinating with vendors and stakeholders, managing logistics, and ensuring the success of the event.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and coordinate tradeshow events from concept to completion.

  • Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders including vendors, display manufacturers, and contractors to ensure successful event execution.

  • Manage the production of event resources such as brochures, banners, and other promotional materials, while ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.

  • Maintain relationships and negotiate contracts with venues, suppliers, and service providers.

  • Develop and maintain event budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial goals are met.

  • Oversee all logistical details including booth layout, audiovisual equipment, and delegate accommodations.

  • Carry out post-event evaluations to determine the overall success of the event and identify areas for improvement.

  • Work closely with the marketing and communications team to maximize publicity and attendance at events.

  • Coordinate onsite logistics during the event, resolving any problems that may arise promptly and professionally.

  • Oversee the maintenance of all event documentation, including permits and insurance requirements.

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality Management, or related field.

  • Previous experience in event planning or coordination, particularly within tradeshows or business-focused events.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.

  • Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, event management software, and project management tools.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.

  • Highly detail-oriented with proven problem-solving skills.

  • Willingness to travel as needed for event planning and execution.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift objects up to 30 lbs.
