Our client in the healthcare industry is seeking a Solutions Architect to join their team. As a Solutions Architect, you will be part of the IT department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for technology which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Solutions Architect

Location: Raleigh, North Carolina (Remote)

Pay Range: Competitive

What's the Job?

  • Coordinate the comprehensive design, maintenance, enhancement, communication, and governance for solution and/or infrastructure architecture.

  • Develop and review key architecture deliverables, preliminary and high-level architecture models for software and infrastructure solutions under development.

  • Manage adherence to architecture standards. Assist in defining strategic direction.

  • Work with project teams (including users, developers, and vendors), to plan, coordinate, analyze, design, review, and implement application systems/enhancements.

  • Identify gaps and opportunities in work to meet corporate goals.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of progressive experience in a combination of development, design, infrastructure/data center and/or related IT disciplines.

  • Experience developing IT solution strategy involving both business and IT interests.

  • Experience should include successful leadership of technical work, with proven success in the design and delivery of quality, scalable IT solutions, on budget and in compliance with applicable requirements.

  • Visual modeling experience using architecture design notation such as ArchiMate or UML.

  • Strong oral/written communication skills to successfully communicate at varied levels within the organization (technical detail with developers through presentations to company leaders, appropriately adjusted for each audience).
