Deloitte Pricing Analyst in Raleigh, North Carolina

As an experienced Pricing Analyst you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel. Project Delivery Model (PDM) is a talent model that is tailored specifically for long-term, onsite client service delivery.

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

  • Build client relationships and be a trusted strategic advisor on how to price menu items

  • Understand the methodologies used for price optimization and translate model outputs into insights that clients can understand and apply

  • Understand the client's strategy and goals, dissect previous store performance, synthesize past and future local market events to adjust pricing recommendations for the client

  • Proactively look out for market trends and activities that may impact pricing and provide timely advice to clients

  • Translate client inquiries into analytics requirements

  • Periodically visit clients and regional meetings to provide additional pricing support

  • Present pricing trends during regional client meetings (2-3x per year)

  • Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management

  • Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

Our Digital Foundry & Operations works with the Customer & Marketing group to bring a flexible capability and fluid capacity model to the delivery of small technology projects and enhancements.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, Math, Information Technology, or related discipline; or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years in client services, pricing, revenue management and/or pricing advisory

  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience in working with SQL and Tableau

  • Experience with predictive modeling in SAS, Python or R

  • Experience working with analytical teams and translating outputs into actionable insights for clients

  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

  • Ability to travel 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

  • Role is remote

    Preferred

  • Previous pricing experience in either hospitality, restaurant, airline or retail industries.

    The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,000 to $145,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
