Summary:

UNC Family Medicine at Hedingham is seeking a Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine). This clinic provides the opportunity to work with a a diverse patient population and the ability to make a difference in patient's lives. This position is open to both new and experienced physicians. Qualifications of the ideal candidate include:

  • Board Certified or Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine;

  • An active, unrestricted NC medical license, or the ability to obtain one;

  • An interest in working with a medically complex adult population;

  • Experience and interest in working with mental health in a primary care setting is a plus.

Services Include:

  • Preventive healthcare

  • Sick care

  • Physicals

  • Immunizations

  • Women’s health

  • Management of acute and chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension and asthma

  • Screening tests
