Curia Manager; Corporate Finance (Hybrid) in Raleigh, North Carolina

Manager, Corporate Finance – Hybrid (Raleigh 3 days/week)

Curia provides global contract research and manufacturing services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

We are looking for a smart, adaptable team player who can figure things out and get things done! This person will have the opportunity to support Sr. Management across all functional areas to drive financial performance and meet financial goals. The Manager is a key member of the Corporate FP&A team. This opportunity will not only have exposure to Functional Department leadership, but cross-functional leadership such as Business Unit Finance.

Responsibilities

• Performs business evaluations and models financial scenarios including NPV and IRR calculation

• Drive the reporting, forecasting, and budgeting for $130+ million of SG&A and R&D spend across the enterprise

• Partner with C-Level functional owners of Finance, Commercial, HR, IT, Global Operations, Quality, and Legal functions to manage spend levels to be in line with plan and forecast

• Drive the Functional Alignment Project to ensure costs and headcount are correctly reported across the enterprise

• Enhance reporting, tracking, and analysis of SG&A spend and headcount; partner with site finance cross functional team to manage and control spend levels

• Supports the Corporate FP&A reporting process to provide corporate leadership and our Sponsors with timely reports on our financial results and related business insights

• Provides ad-hoc financial analysis and project support for the business management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

• 5+ years of experience performing financial and variance analysis, forecasting, planning, and financial modeling

• Strong business analysis, financial planning and reporting skills that generate business insights that add measurable value. Current knowledge of current trends in finance and functional best-practices

• Ability to piece together incomplete information from different sources

• Excellent at workload prioritization. Develops and manages processes that are effective and efficient

• Strong interpersonal, communication (both written and verbal)

• Possesses the behavioral attributes of the competencies in the finance competency model: critical thinking and analysis, business insight, decision making, drive for results, financial expertise, project management and process improvement, people management, collaboration and team work, and influence

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters in Finance, Accounting and/or MBA

• CPA, CMA, CFA

• Advanced analytical capabilities including Excel and database skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office suites, Hyperion
