Kimley-Horn Financial Analyst Intern in Raleigh, North Carolina

Overview

Kimley-Horn, one of Fortune Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For,” is looking for a Financial Analyst Intern to support our corporate Finance and Accounting team in Raleigh, NC for the fall of 2024!

As an Intern with Kimley-Horn, you will benefit from a hands-on experience geared towards growing Kimley-Horn’s next generation of leaders. You will gain exposure to employees of all levels of the organization. As a valuable addition to our team, you will be given the opportunity to apply your exceptional analytical and communication skills to a wide variety of finance and accounting projects.

This is an in-office position.

Responsibilities

  • Complete data, help desk, and marketing requests for our partners around the firm

  • Prepare monthly financial reports and respond to related inquiries

  • Assist team members with our annual overhead state submittals

  • Work with team members to perform a variety of ad hoc financial analyses

  • Provide assistance on special projects to support various teams nationwide

Qualifications

  • In the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in accounting, finance, or data analytics set to graduate in Fall 2024 or Spring 2025

  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills

  • Strong worth ethic and demonstrated drive to achieve goals

  • Attention to details and ability to contribute to a positive work environment

  • Ability to apply quantitative skills to analyze and interpret data

  • Professional demeanor and ability to display a positive professional attitude

  • Microsoft Excel skills preferred
