The Digital Technology and Innovation group supports the Corporate Strategy, Digital Platform & Innovation Business. Together they work closely to continue evolving Wells Fargo’s digital platforms and enhance integration of the innovation pipeline into our customer-facing capabilities.

We are seeking an Engineering Associate Manager to lead our Quality Engineering transformation by igniting a culture of quality as part of the Digital Capabilities Organization. The leader will help define the vision, strategy, and road map for ensuring software quality of products delivered into production that are resilient, stable, and reliable. As part of Digital Capabilities in Digital Technology and Innovation and Wells Fargo Technology, you will work to innovate, automate, and enable teams to deliver products and services through the Enterprise Agile methodology, CI/CD, Continuous Testing and Inspection, Test Automation, Chaos Testing, and evolve Test Data Management and Analysis leveraging AI/ML Capabilities.

You will partner with the Application Security and Quality Engineering Transformation Leader to drive measurable results in Digital Technology and Innovation. You will build an elite team of highly skilled Software Engineers that will span a variety of disciplines required to ensure quality products are delivered aligning to our robust Digital experience products and services. You are passionate about building top performing teams that impact change at scale delivering quality products that are feature rich resulting in customer satisfaction.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Evangelize a Culture of Quality through DevSecOps in Digital Technology and Innovation as part of Digital Capabilities organization.

  • Lead a team of highly talented software and test automation engineers that work with teams in the Agile methodology to accelerate delivery of quality products into production

  • Work with Digital product teams to deliver quality products through Behavior Driven Development (BDD),Test Driven Development (TDD), CI/CD, Continuous Testing, Continuous Inspection, and Chaos Testing

  • Drive the adoption of the Wells Fargo Automation Framework enabling Unit, Functional, Regression, Integration, and Resiliency/Controlled Chaos Testing to ensure Quality at scale leveraging the Enterprise Pipeline.

  • Evolve and expand test data management to provide automated insight into software quality through AI/ML and advanced correlation of test data, test results, test execution, test data, code coverage and integrate reporting

  • Identify, visualize, and publicize quantitative and qualitative metrics, set goals, and work with stakeholders and to achieve goals and improve overall software quality all DTI applications.

  • Accelerate training and education of product teams by curating, participating, and leading engineering academies, training sessions, product demos, developing product documentation, communications, and leading community forums focused on improving quality in partnership with DTI Engineering and Wells Fargo Technology

  • Innovate, Automate, and Enhance Existing capabilities including CI/CD/CT to improve overall quality

  • Be a leader amongst peers and partners, innovate, and work across organizational lines to drive change.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of technology engineering experience

  • 2+ years of leadership experience in a technology environment

  • 2+ years of strategic planning and development experience

  • 2 + years of experience designing and implementing solutions for test automation using Selenium and Java

Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to interact with and influence all organizational levels, particularly senior management

  • Experience with automation, regression, and performance testing

  • 3+ years of Agile experience

  • 2+ years of experience leading solution architecture projects

  • An AA/AS degree or higher

Other Desired Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience with modern industry-standard software engineering technologies and toolsets
