Associates degree in science, EHS, technical discipline or equivalent related work experience
3 -5 years of successful working experience in a directly related EHS field including reporting directly to EHS Management
Work experience with EHS Management Information Systems (EMIS), e-Learning platforms, Internet web design
Experience responding to EHS Customer questionnaires and 3rd party Customer Qualification sites (ISNetWorld, BROWS, PICS)
Practical knowledge of quality/problem solving techniques (Environmental Health Safety)
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers
Requires excellent interpersonal skills, collaboration, teamwork, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as with business contacts, location EHS and outside clients and vendors; experience working with and supporting executive level staff.
Ability to effectively manage multiple activities simultaneously and meet defined deadlines; Strong work ethic and self-starter able to complete assigned complete tasks with moderate supervision; Attention to detail
Proven track record in successfully participating in a team environment
Excellent time management skills and task prioritization; meets deadlines and if necessary, keeps clients informed of any delays
Travel between 10 – 15 % may be required to department events, staff meetings and, training (for self or to provide to others)
Highly organized professional with proven experience in managing administrative projects and supporting technical and service organization. Responsive to customer requests on EHS information as needed.
