Actalent Calibration Technician in Raleigh, North Carolina

Job Title: Calibration TechnicianJob Description

As a Calibration Technician, you will perform calibrations, qualifications, and preventive maintenance with precise and timely GxP documentation. You will follow specific policies and procedures with minor supervision, ensuring all tasks are completed safely. Your role involves handling and maintaining both company and client equipment, including testing and standards equipment. You will be tasked with troubleshooting and repairs while focusing primarily on scheduled calibrations and maintenance events. Your proactive approach in assessing project safety concerns and ensuring compliance with site safety requirements is crucial. You will also assess client environments and needs to develop and initiate effective solutions, maintaining solid relationships for successful project execution.

Hard Skills

  • Flow, conductivity, pH, mass, and dimensional calibrations

  • Troubleshooting and performing repairs

  • Handling and maintenance of equipment

  • Loop checks, temperature, pressure, pH calibrations on a variety of equipment including process equipment, utilities, manufacturing, and some lab instruments

Soft Skills

  • High attention to detail

  • Proactive in assessing safety concerns

  • Ability to develop and maintain client relationships

  • Effective problem-solving skills
