What Will You Be A Part Of?
Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an Agile Coach for our Corporate Solutions and Integrations (CSI) group. The primary goal of this highly visible role is to serve as Agile coach to drive Agile transformation across Global IT. In this role, you will be part of an Agile transformation guiding events, processes and accelerating value delivery.
What Will You Do?
Provide thought leadership on Agile/SAFe best practices
Develop standard IT program management and governance practices.
Identify opportunities for IT process standardization, document findings and recommendations
Be an active member of the Program Excellence team to successfully roll-out project management tools for Waterfall, Agile and SAFe methodologies.
Report on data accuracy and completeness for capabilities & features.
Establish meaningful KPIs and metrics to track progress focused around agile transformation and maturity
Day to day support, including data entry, process adherence and governance activities
Develop and maintain training materials
Deliver agile training to align our teams around a common language and methodology for Thermo Fisher Scientific
Participate in creation of Agile coaching strategy, creating a common approach that would help our teams delivery with improved effectiveness and efficiency
Interact with teams to identify opportunities for conversion to Agile (or Scaled Agile)
Coach scrum teams in agile value and best practices
Work closely with other coaches to identify improvement areas across portfolios
How Will You Get Here?
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience preferably as an Agile Coach
Thorough understanding of agile methodologies, values, and procedures
Relevant certification - PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified SAFE
System administration experience an advantage.
Experience of delivering outcomes within multiple/hybrid methodologies
Knowledge of data visualization techniques and Power BI
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Skilled in the development of agile metrics to incentivize best practice behaviors at all levels of the organization
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related technology
Proven experience of coaching and leading Agile and Scaled Agile tools, including JIRA contributing towards agile transformations
Experience with Planview Leankit, Planview Enterprise One a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with diverse personality types
Change management expertise
Excellent team player and team builder
