Merck Sharp & Dohme LLC Specialist, Business/Technology Analysis in Rahway, New Jersey

Provide engineering and testing support for all current and future mobile infrastructure solutions. Develop mobility strategic vision for the organization, through research and evaluation of new technologies. Work with other IT (Information Technology) teams, security and business-related areas to keep abreast of the latest mobility requirements and policies. Work with various wireless carriers, device manufacturers, software vendors to understand their strategies in providing enterprise mobility solutions. Assist with developing and communicating new mobility services offerings and device standards. Represent Mobility Infrastructure Services on various IT projects and business initiatives. Work with Operations Support team, improve customer support and provide training where necessary. Must have Bachelor’s degree (or U.S. equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related field. Must have at least 3 years experience with MobileIron Mobile Device Management technology. Must have at least 3 years experience in supporting server infrastructure technologies including technologies that rely on Apache, Linux, Windows & SQL systems; and in performing system engineering activities that will contribute to the successful delivery of Enterprise Mobility infrastructure solutions including application deployment, automation improvements, emerging technologies. Must have 3 years experience working in a regulated environment within the pharmaceutical industry. Must have working knowledge of mobile application development process and a solid understanding of mobile messaging, wireless networking and Active Directory technologies. Ability to present on and/or speak to various mobility topics; excellent written communication and organizational skills; ability to work effectively with customers, vendors & technical staff at all levels; and ability to work effectively both independently and within a team also required. 40 hours per week: M-F: 9am-5pm.
