System One Maintenance Mechanic in Rahway, New Jersey

SUMMARY

  • Perform daily work assignments, respond to pages for repairs, adjustments, and mechanical issues on production lines.

  • Projects, equipment re-location, installations, upgrades

  • Complete repairs, logging activities in logbooks when required.

  • Pull, disassemble, reassemble and re-install pistons during washout.

  • Pull and reinstall change parts for cleaning.

  • Perform line size change overs, monthly PM, and maintenance functions for deep cleaning-super sanitizations.

  • Maintain shop area.

  • Identify and report potential safety issues.

  • Recommend better practices and improvements.

  • Attend and comprehend monthly safety trainings.

  • 1st Shit – 7AM – 3:30PM, M-F

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.

  • 1 + years of experience and or education working on or around manufacturing/production line equipment.

  • Experience with repairing, troubleshooting filling lines
